Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences: Exploring VR technologies in Media and Communication degrees - a Taster class
Join us for a Q&A and taster class on Virtual Reality taken from courses offered in Media and Communication degrees.

Our Media and Communications degrees are future focused, exploring real world issues and trends. In this micro-class, Dr Marcus Carter will critically examine the experiences that are possible with emerging VR technologies, and the implications of a Facebook-owned (Virtual) reality. This talk will include recent findings on his research designing VR experiences for visitors at Melbourne Zoo. This class will be followed by Q&A where you can have all your questions about studying Media and Communications at The University of Sydney answered.
