E-cigarettes and vaping in young people – where to from here?
This webinar will be presented by Dr Emily Stocking from the Matilda Centre for Research in Mental Health and Substance Use, University of Sydney.

E-cigarettes have become one of the most hotly debated topics in recent years, and use among young people is rising rapidly. This webinar will:
- Give an overview of e-cigarette trends in Australia
- Summarise potentially effective interventions for schools
- Give an update on upcoming trials and resources
- Provide some brief tips for engaging in conversations about vaping with young people.

There will also be time for a Q&A at the end of the webinar.

Dr Emily Stockings it the Program Lead of ‘Smoking, Vaping and Mental Health’ at The Matilda Centre, University of Sydney. She has 13 years’ experience in tobacco control interventions among hard to reach populations, including training clinical staff in assessing and treating nicotine dependence in healthcare settings. Emily is an expert consultant on vaping to the Department of Health, Therapeutic Goods Administration and The World Health Organization.
